Summer and winter holiday in the free standing luxury chalet in the Dolomites
Climbing, mountain biking and hiking in Val Gardena, as well as winter walking, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing in the Dolomiti Superski ski area.
Summer activities
In summer, Val Gardena shows off its most diverse side. At Vallunga, Seceda, Col Raiser, Dantercepies and the mountain passes surrounding the Sella Group, there are countless opportunities to explore the Dolomites on foot. Cable cars provide easy access to a variety of hiking trails and scenic, high-altitude routes, while cycle routes wind through forests and across alpine pastures. There are also climbing routes and via ferrata trails to suit all levels of ability at Passo Sella, Passo Gardena and around the Sassolungo. Further variety is provided by activities such as nordic walking, tennis, horse riding, tandem flights and the zipline at Monte Pana. With the Val Gardena Active programme, you can take part in guided hikes, bike tours and cultural experiences, either free of charge or at special rates, depending on the activity.
Winter activities
In winter, Val Gardena is a paradise for skiers and anyone who wants to explore the snow-covered mountains on foot. The nearby ski lifts will take you straight to the Dolomiti Superski ski area and the famous Sellaronda route, which allows you to ski all the way around the Sella massif. In Vallunga you will find cross-country trails for both classic and skating styles. Further trails can be found at Monte Pana and on the Alpe di Siusi. Away from the slopes, you can explore the snow-covered mountain landscape on snowshoeing trips. Other winter experiences include tobogganing at Rasciesa or on the Alpe di Siusi and ice skating at the Pranives ice rink. With the Val Gardena Active programme, you can join guided winter experiences, either free of charge or at special rates, depending on the activities.
